The Swedish embassy is located next to the Landmark hotel in one pacific hotel, actually in google map it shows Two pacific hotel but it’s the same just different building adjacent to each other connected. Initially We where confused but once we entered as in below pictures we found the way. Enter the lift, 20th floor opens in Swedish Embassy. They are strictly functioning on opening hours 8-10 no even less or more which could be extended to longer in my opinion. Because we live out of city, we had to book the hotel in Bangkok over night to reach the embassy. The traffic is tremendous when you come to downtown in the morning from out of city Especially when you have to take public transport. Service is good but I rate 3 star because of super limited working hours which is not convenient for long distance travelers

Worst service of all Swedish embassies I’ve been in contact with. The Swedish staff there doesn’t care about giving services to their citizens and are very ignorant. No email response until it’s too late and almost impossible to reach by phone even during phone hours. People working in this embassy are clearly there just to enjoy life in Thailand. It’s a shame that taxpayers money couldn’t be used better to find people with the right competency and desire to actually help people.
The embassy address is wrong. It is in the building behind on the 8th floor - one pacific place. I came here to get an emergency passport. I came in at 8am, was told to come back at 10am and then I was able to book a time for 13.30 on the same day. Once I was in for my appointment it went very quickly and I got my emergency passport in 15 mins.
Diplomatic staff excellent and highly efficient. On enquiring on a certain documents validity I was in receipt of a reply within 24 hours. Regretfully staff at reception let the process down hence only 4 stars. Still a substantial improvement on my experience with many other Western Countries Embassies who should use the Swedish Embassy as an example of how to treat your nationals, with respect and courtesy! Well done.
I have filled in the form for visa evaluation on 5th Aug., but I don't know how long I have to wait for the result. My suggestion is, a visa applicant should be advised how many days it will take to process the checking. The time line should be established.
How can an embassy employ so rude and racist thai staff at the door?
I have been here 4 times and 3 times now the man in charge at the door clearly takes his responsability too far by stopping me and shouting:
-What do you want?
-Where are you from
- Identify yourself!
( maybe Im swedish...blond& blue eyes&in a suit clearly working farang I am not drinking singha or dressed in thongs but a suit.)
He throws my bag violently in my face after checking.

Please teach and train your staff that swedish ladies need respect ( he did not do this to thai) and not be treated like a cow!

Phone contact is very difficult I spend time contacting this place 2 days already, Monday and Tuesday, no one answered the phone. And today it is the last day of sending my additional documents, sent via fax, and the fax doesn't the response either. They act like they really don't care. I understand that one day you work with too much about papers Or not enough staff Do not use to call to tell us that the document is missing But when we send the document back But no one answered me and called me and i calling the embassy all day is too busy all day. Until closing time Really can't contact 👎
Extremally rude and unwilling to help personal. Impossible to reach per phone and if you reach them they decline the call before its properly connected per skype. Also i get the feeling that if you have a case from a other country than Thailand they are even more rude and unwilling to help. Email takes more than a week to get response to and rarely answers the issues you have.
The working hour is 8-10 am and it changed floor from 20th to 8th floor!!!!!!***
